Step 1 :

Dust your counter with dusting sugar pouch. Roll out fondant and imprint with copper stone impression mat. Cut impressed rolled fondant with scallop round cutter. Spread a thin layer of apricot jam on cupcake and covered with cut-out fondant.

Step 2 :

To make shoes, start by rolling out 2 equal size small balls of gumpaste. Roll further into 2 tear drop shape before flattening one end and glue onto cupcake with edible glue.

Step 3 :

Make a long ball of skin colour gumpaste for the body. Place the spaghetti stick into centre of body right into cupcake.

Step 4 :

Cut out a piece of thinly rolled-out red colour gumpaste (per shape below) for the robe. Adjust to length and size of body.

Step 5 :

Affix robe onto body with edible glue. Ensure robe is long enough to cover shoes, leaving only front portion of shoes visible. Curl end of robe outward to create ruffles.

Step 6 :

To make arms, start by making 2 equal ball size of gumpaste before rolling into shape of arm. Bend arms slightly above centre to create elbow and at end to create wrist. Use craft knife to make marking of fingers at end.

Step 7 :

Cut out red colour gumpaste for sleeves (per shape below). Wrap gumpaste around arms. Ensure open cuffs at end of sleeves.

Step 8 :

Roll a ball of skin colour gumpaste for the head and proportion tiny balls for ears & nose. Indent ear balls with vein tool.

Step 9 :

Cut out red colour gumpaste with end of tip (as shown in picture) to form cap for doll & glue onto head.

Step 10 :

Cut out a strip of yellow colour fondant to form brim of cap.

Step 11 :

Affix ears & nose with edible glue and use edible food marker to draw the eyes. Use a comb tool to indent mouth. Complete with a small dot of black gumpaste at top of cap.

Step 12 :

Glue both arms onto the doll and fastened with pins to hold posture. Remove pins once the arms dry completely.
