Different menus for the festive season

HILTON Kuala Lumpur has set four different themed buffets to feast patrons this coming festive season.

The balik kampung buffet is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with favourites like Rendang Tok, Udang Harimau Percik, Laksa, Ayam Goreng Berlada, Spicy Oxtail Soup and assorted Malay salads on the menu.

There will also be traditional dips like sambal belacan, cencaluk, budu and sambal tempoyak to complement the dishes.

Those who prefer a mix of cuisines can opt for the muhibbah buffet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The menu includes a combination of Serunding Kerang, Arooq, Sambal Kentang, Roganjosh, Braised Beef with Coconut and Galangal Paste, Nasi Minyak, Fried Loh See Fun, Chicken Shawarma with Pita Bread and various condiments.

Saturdays will be the nyonya buffet to pay tribute to the Straits Chinese cuisine with Udang Sambal, Pucuk Paku Belacan, Otak-otak Daun and Ikan Asam Pedas available on the buffet spread.

Sundays, on the other hand, will feature the Middle Eastern buffet with its signature Lamb Shawarma with Pita Bread and condiments.

Other items on the menu include Kouzi Ala Timman, Sanouna, Dawood Basha, Khoudra Mshakle, Fried Kwey Teow and Muhammar.

The Ramadan special kicks off at Sudu Restaurant in Hilton Kuala Lumpur from Aug 1 to 31.
