AT Heritage Hotel’s Polo Cafe in Ipoh, you will not only get to enjoy its share of delicious dishes, but also enjoy a good view of Ipoh as you dine away.

The cafe on the second floor is casual yet cosy and offers delicious a’ la carte dishes which range from chicken chop to local delicacies.

One of its highlights however is its daily set lunch priced at RM28 (adults) and RM14 (children) where diners get to savour a wide range of the chef’s specialities, which cover local, Western and fusion delights.

At the buffet, you can start off with a light salad and maybe a small bowl of soup. Then dig into the mains, with more than 20 selections to choose from.

Thin slices of beef stir-fried with ginger, succulent roasted chicken with tasty brown sauce, deep-fried fish slices cooked with tangy black pepper, and cauliflower with crabmeat sauce are among some of the savoury dishes spread on the buffet table. Then there are the lamb, prawns and more chicken to choose from.

Eat them with steaming hot white rice, pasta or noodles and you will be full in no time. Remember however to save a tiny bit of space for dessert, where juicy fresh fruit, jellies and cakes beckon together with tea and cold drinks.

Whether it is for a quick grab-and-go lunch or a leisurely two-hour sit-down, the buffet is open between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

The weekend hi-tea is available at RM25 per head and is an excellent chance for relaxing in the company of friends and loved ones during the weekend.
