STILL struggling with Valentine’s Day plans? Fret not as SKY360° restaurant at the eCity Hotel @ One City has a delectable fine dining menu for you to treat your loved ones to this Valentine’s Day.

SKY 360’s Valentine’s Day dinner set consists of a sexy four-course meal which begins with a deliciously rich Foie Gras Mousse with Nut bread (top pic). The Foie Gras was served in the most interesting manner – in the form of a truffle, coated with chocolate and rolled in an assortment of nuts. This certainly set the tone for remainder of the ensemble which was about to grace the table.

The Foie Gras was followed by a light Seafood Bouillabaisse. Not one to particularly enjoy the flavour of fish (unless it is raw), the undertones of fishiness was delicious here, complimenting the light tomato-based soup exquisitely. Bonus brownie points were given for the deliciously big and juicy clam that adorned the centre of this soup.

For the main course, guests can choose between Crusted Cod Fish, Chicken Supreme, or the Black Angus Wellington Beef.

The Crusted Cod Fish was prepared to velvety perfection, accompanied by a delectable combination of avocado crabmeat topping, green peas puree, and a tangy and sweet tomato emulsion. Fitting a little of each of these into one mouthful resulted in a rich burst of flavours on the tastebuds, and will leave you craving for more.

If you opt for the Chicken Supreme, expect an entrée that is as tender as it is juicy, served alongside with dates, smoked cauliflower, and pink pepper corn reduction. A personal favourite, however, has got to be the slow-cooked Black Angus Beef Wellington prepared with a lightly breaded outer layer which adds an enjoyable texture, served alongside potato fondant, papaya chutney, and garlic almond puree.

To end this decadent meal,  a slice of Chocolate Raisin Cake layered with Raspberry Cremeux was served with dark chocolate ganache, cubes of sinful walnut brownies and almond cinnamon crumble.

Not just that, with the brilliant dexterity of the chefs, this four-course meal becomes as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the tummy. Combine this with the ambience of dining at an elegant rooftop venue overlooking the hotel’s façade, and you’ve got yourself a complete romantic experience befitting Feb 14.

This four-course dinner package is only available on Valentine’s Day (Feb 14, 2016) on a reservation basis and is priced at 128 nett per person. If you’re looking for a more lasting celebration, you could upgrade your itinerary from the four-course dinner to include a romantic 2-day-1-night stay at the eCity Hotel for RM339 nett per couple, which includes a buffet breakfast for two.
