- 4 eggs
- 120g castor sugar
- 120g plain flour
- 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- Preheat oven to 170°C. Grease, flour and line a 20cm round cake tin.
- Whisk eggs and sugar until mixture is thick.
- Fold in flour in batches with a spatula.
- Pour batter into the prepared tin.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
- Turn out, remove the paper. Set aside to cool on a wire rack.
