- 500g medium-sized prawns, shelled
- 100g shallots, peeled and sliced
- 150g onion, peeled and sliced thinly
- 60g young ginger, shredded finely
- 50g red chillies, sliced finely
- 400ml calamansi (kasturi) lime juice
- Salt, pepper and sugar to taste
- 50g coriander leaves
- Combine all the ingredients except the garnish and set aside in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
