Recipe Ingredient

  • 10 pieces of bread
  • Butter
  • Jam
  • Handful of raisin
  • Rum (optional)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 250ml of cream
  • 150ml of milk
  • 3-4 tbs of sugar


  1. Butter bread on one side.
  2. Spread jam.
  3. Arrange bread side by side on a pudding pan.
  4. Soak raisins in rum or syrup, pour over bread.
  5. Beat egg yolks. Add sugar.
  6. Add the cream and then the milk and continue beating at low speed.
  7. Pour the mixture over the bread, making sure it soaks the bread.
  8. Dab some butter over the surface and place it in the oven.
