Recipe Ingredient

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 100g sugar
  • 4 egg whites
  • 100g custard sugar
  • ½ lime
  • 260g carrot
  • 240g ground hazelnut
  • 80g flour

Instructions

  1. Whisk sugar and egg yolk in a mixing bowl until fluffy.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk custard sugar and egg white until become meringue.
  3. Combine meringue to the first mixture, and then add all the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Place cake ring (lined with parchment paper at the base) on baking tray.
  5. Pour mixture into the prepared cake ring. Bake at 178 degrees Celcius for about 35 to 40 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven to cool completely.
  7. Gently remove cake from ring, keep in chiller for at least 2 hours before serving.
