This recipe is best with
- 150g butter (at room temperature)
- 250g icing sugar
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- 2 tbsp cold milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp coffee essence
- Dissolve the instant coffee in the milk.
- Set aside.
- Cream butter until light and creamy, then gradually beat in icing sugar, adding a little of the coffee-flavoured milk.
- Add essences and continue to beat until light and fluffy.
