Recipe Ingredient

  • 500g medium size prawns
  • 1 tbsp Maggi Ikan Bilis Powder
  • 1 tsp belacan powder
  • 4 cloves garlic, pounded
  • 2 shallots, pounded
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander
  • 4 egg whites
  • 4 tbsps rice flour
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Some butter
  • Chopped red pepper for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Slice the prawns lengthwise.
  2. Combine the ikan bilis powder, belacan powder, garlic, shallots, coriander, egg whites, rice flour, black pepper and salt.
  3. Heat butter in a non-stick pan.
  4. Fry the prawns for about 2 minutes.
  5. Serve on fried rice.
