Recipe Ingredient

  • 8 chicken drumsticks or chicken wings
  • Marinade
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp ginger juice
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Flour mixture – (combined)
  • 2 tbsp plain flour
  • 3 tbsp rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Chinese five spice powder

Instructions

  1. Wash chicken pieces and pat dry with several pieces of paper kitchen towels. Season chicken with the marinade and leave in the refrigerator for several hours.
  2. Toss the marinated chicken in combined flour mixture and deep-fry in hot oil until cooked through and golden brown.
