Recipe Ingredient

  • 2 sachets tea bags (Lipton or Boh tea)
  • 300ml boiling water
  • 150ml apple juice
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 100ml basic syrup
  • 300ml (1 small can) Coca Cola (chilled)
  • Plenty of crushed ice
  • Basic syrup:
  • 100g castor sugar
  • 100ml water
  • 2 pandan leaves, knotted
  • Garnishing:
  • Lime rind strips
  • Lemon rind strips
  • Maraschino cherries


  1. To prepare syrup: BRING water, sugar and pandan leaves to a quick boil to dissolve the sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes, then strain and set syrup aside for use later.
  2. To prepare the drinks: PUT tea bags in a jug and add hot water. Cover and allow to infuse for 10 minutes. Discard tea bags.
  3. Combine all ingredients, except Coca Cola, in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and chill in the refrigerator. Pour drinks into chilled goblets. Pour in Coca Cola slowly. Serve garnished when guests have arrived.
