Recipe Ingredient

  • 150g prawns
  • 1 big onion, diced
  • 1 red chilli, seeded and sliced
  • 1 green chilli, seeded and sliced
  • 25g carrots, finely chopped
  • 1 potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Seasoning:
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • A dash of pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp ikan bilis stock granules
  • (B):
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • Sauce (mix):
  • 2 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • A pinch of sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine (A) well.
  2. Add in seasoning.
  3. Blend in (B).
  4. Shape into small patties.
  5. Coat lightly with beaten egg white and dip into bread crumbs.
  6. Deep-fry in hot oil until lightly browned.
  7. Drain and serve with sauce.
