Recipe Ingredient

  • Bread of your choice (white, wholemeal, French loaf, etc)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 3 tbsp orange juice or juice of your choice

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg, juice, honey and cinnamon powder thoroughly. Briefly soak the bread in the egg mix.
  2. Heat up a non-stick pan or use a non-stick spray on your regular pan. Lightly brown bread on both sides.
  3. Serve with fruit compote, butter or jam.
  4. A healthier alternative is to serve with lots of local fruits and nuts or even dried fruits like sultanas, apple, pear and apricots,etc.
