- Bread of your choice (white, wholemeal, French loaf, etc)
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 3 tbsp orange juice or juice of your choice
- Beat the egg, juice, honey and cinnamon powder thoroughly. Briefly soak the bread in the egg mix.
- Heat up a non-stick pan or use a non-stick spray on your regular pan. Lightly brown bread on both sides.
- Serve with fruit compote, butter or jam.
- A healthier alternative is to serve with lots of local fruits and nuts or even dried fruits like sultanas, apple, pear and apricots,etc.
