- 200g cabbage
- 50g onion, chopped
- 1 fresh red chilli, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 25ml water
- 50g freshly grated coconut (white part only)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Wash and shred the cabbage and place in a pan.
- Add onion, chilli, salt and water.
- Cook for 5 minutes.
- Once water is evaporated, add the coconut, pepper and turmeric and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with limejuice just before serving.
