- 10 eggs
- 600g sugar (or 500g if you like less sweet)
- Thick coconut milk from 4 coconut
- Whisk egg and sugar till sugar dissolved
- Add in coconut milk and sieve.
- Double boiled for minimum 1 hour. (you can melt 1 tbsp of sugar in thick base pan and add to the kaya to have darker color kaya)
- Stir constantly with wooden spatula.
- note: cook with pandan leave if you want pandan flower.
- Use old coconut or else the kaya will not be smooth.
