Recipe Ingredient

  • 10 eggs
  • 600g sugar (or 500g if you like less sweet)
  • Thick coconut milk from 4 coconut


  1. Whisk egg and sugar till sugar dissolved
  2. Add in coconut milk and sieve.
  3. Double boiled for minimum 1 hour. (you can melt 1 tbsp of sugar in thick base pan and add to the kaya to have darker color kaya)
  4. Stir constantly with wooden spatula.
  5. note: cook with pandan leave if you want pandan flower.
  6. Use old coconut or else the kaya will not be smooth.
