Recipe Ingredient

  • 1 cup sago
  • 6 cups water
  • 5Tbsp gula melaka
  • salt (to taste)
  • 3/4 cups Anchor UHT Extra Yield Cooking Cream
  • pandan leaves
  • food coloring according to preference
  • 1 cup water


  1. Cook the gula melaka with a cup of water on medium flame. Once gula melaka has melted, strain the syrup and leave it to cool.
  2. Meanwhile, in another pot, heat up the Anchor cream with some salt (to taste) on ow flame. Once it starts to bubble, turn off the heat and leave it to cool. Boleh ditambah air sekiranya bancuhan agak pekat
  3. Cooking the Sago
  4. In a pot, add the sago and 4 cups of water. Heat up on low flame and make sure to stir frequently
  5. Once the water boils, add the remaining 2 cups of water and continue stirring. Stir till the sago becomes clear and see through.
  6. Then, strain and wash the cooked sago with flowing cold water.
  7. Divide the cooked sago into four separate bowls and color them according to your preference
  8. Assembling
  9. Start with some gula melaka syrup, followed by the dyed sago. Then top it off with the cooked Anchor cream . Leave it in the freezer for at least an hour. And it is ready to be enjoyed!
