Recipe Ingredient

  • 125g unsalted butter (softened)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 125g icing sugar
  • 1/2 no lemon (zest and juice)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Mix butter, sugar and salt and cream until light and fluffy (pale in colour).
  2. Add in the zest, juice, vanilla and continue to cream till smooth and creamy texture for 3- 5 minutes using medium speed.
  3. Butter cream is ready to be used as filling for macarons.
