Longevity Chicken

  1. Wash and clean the chicken. Rub the inside of the chicken with saltand white pepper.
  2. Cook ingredients a in a pressure cooker for 10 minutes. Otherwise boil the chinese herbs in one rice bowl of water under very low flame for about half an hour.
  3. Stuff ingredients a into the chicken and cook in the pressure cooker for 25 minutes with low flame together with seasoning. Otherwise, add two rice bowls of water and simmer under very low flame for two-and-a-halfhours.
  4. Add cooking wine and thicken the sauce before serving.
  5. Blanch the vegetables in hot water and assemble around the chicken. Serve hot.
