Fry the green peas in a nonstick saucepan without oil until cooked and fragrant. Remove and leave to cool completely. Put the green peas, in batches, in a food processor. Blend until it is fine and powder-like.
Combine green pea powder and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add canola oil gradually and knead until a dough is formed. Once the dough binds well together, it is an indication that the dough is well blended and any excess oil should not be added.
Take small portions of dough and press into a wooden mould. Knock out the biscuits and arrange on a lightly greased baking tray. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 10-12 minutes or until biscuits are firm and cooked through.
