Recipe Ingredient

  • 240g minced chicken or beef
  • 125g minced lean meat
  • 1 big onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 a red capsicum, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp mixed Italian dressing
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp spring onion
  • 1/2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Line a loaf tin with greased tin foil.
  2. Soak the slices of bread in the milk and then squeeze out the excess liquid.
  3. Put the rest of the ingredients (except the egg) into a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Add the bread to the ingredients and mix well, then stir in the beaten egg.
  4. Pour the mixture into a prepared loaf tin. Bake in a preheated oven of 190 degrees C for 75 to 90 minutes or until cooked.
