Recipe Ingredient

  • 200g pork fillet
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 50g onion, sliced
  • Marinade
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • Sauce ingredients
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 50ml evaporated milk
  • 70ml water

Instructions

  1. Season pork fillet with marinade for several hours. Heat enough oil in a wok and deep-fry the marinated meat over medium low heat until crispy and golden. Remove to a serving plate.
  2. Place butter in a clean wok. Sweat the onion until fragrant. Add sauce ingredients and cook until aromatic. Pour sauce over the pork chop and serve at once.
