Recipe Ingredient

  • 500g ground glutinous rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 200g grated coconut
  • 50g sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 3 tbsps sugar


  1. Mix ground glutinous rice with water to knead into a dough. Boil water in a pot. Tear off a small rectangular piece of dough and flatten it. Drop the pieces into boiling water.
  2. When the dough floats, it is ready to be taken out.
  3. Prepare a mixture of grated coconut, toasted sesame seeds and sugar. Coat the rice cakes with this mixture.
