Recipe Ingredient

  • 250g tang mein fun (wheat flour)
  • 125g tapioca flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 520ml boiling water
  • 30g lard/shortening


  1. Combine both flours in a large mixing bowl. Mix in salt and make a well in the centre of the flour.
  2. Pour in boiling water and stir with a wooden spoon to mix until a lump of dough is formed.
  3. Add the lard/shortening and knead until a smooth dough is formed. Roll out the dough into a long sausage. Cut into even pieces and roll each into a ball. Use it as a wrap for your filling.
