- 2 Chinese pears (preferably San Toong pears)
- 6-7 dried figs
- 5 red dates, pitted
- 20g dried longan flesh
- 10g sweet and bitter almond (lam hung and pak hung)
- 125g rock sugar
- 2 litres water
- Rinse the pears and remove the core. Cut into cubes. Rinse figs, red dates, dried longan and all the almonds.
- Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker. Pour in water. Cook on low for 3-4 hours. Add rock sugar in the last hour and continue to simmer until sugar dissolves. Dish out and serve hot.
