Recipe Ingredient

  • 150g Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 2 slices White Bread, crust removed
  • 280ml Anchor UHT Full Cream Milk
  • 100g Sugar
  • 4 Whole Eggs (Grade A)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence

Instructions

  1. Prepare the caramel by melting the sugar using medium heat.
  2. When the sugar has started to turn caramelized, lower down the heat, stir then add water. Continue stirring until mixture become crystal clear caramel.
  3. Remove from heat and transfer the caramel into a baking tray, set aside.
  4. In a blender, add roughly cut breads, Anchor UHT Full Cream Milk, sugar, egg and blend everything until smooth.
  5. Pre-heat steamer. Strain the blended mixture onto the prepared caramel.
  6. Steam the mixture for 45minutes using small flame.
  7. Remove the steamed caramel, keep it completely chill before consuming. Enjoy!
  8. Tips: Cover the steamer lid cover with large cloth, this will prevent water to drop onto steamed item.
