- 1 cup grated cucumber or carrot or boiled and grated beetroot
- 1 fresh chilli, diced finely
- 1 onion, finelly diced
- 1 tsp ginger, finely grated ( optional)
- 1 cup matured yogurt, real sour or as preferred
- 1/2 a sprig of curry leaves ( optional)
- Mix all of the above and serve at room temperature. It can be chilled if preferred.
- One may also temper these with oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and dried chillies for an authentic indian spread.
