Recipe Ingredient

  • MINCE BEEF RENDANG
  • 200g minced beef
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 medium tomato, diced
  • 100g pre-made rendang paste
  • 50g kerisik
  • 50g Anchor UHT Extra Yield Cooking Cream
  • 1/2 pcs tumeric leaf, thinly sliced
  • 2 to 3 pcs lime leaf
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • gula melaka to taste
  • Other Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 4 beef sausage
  • 4 frankfurther bread roll
  • 2 tbps Anchor Unsalted Butter, softend
  • 1/2 red onion, big dice
  • 150g Anchor Colby & Cheddar Shredded
  • 1 pc spring onion, sliced
  • Chili, sliced (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pot, cook minced beef on high heat until minced beef is browned. Add in tomato and rendang paste cook in medium heat and let it simmer until liquid slightly dry, add in kerisik and simmer for another 3 - 4mins add in Anchor Extra Yield Cooking Cream and bring to simmer, check seasoning and season accordingly as premade paste has seasoning in it.
  2. Add in turmeric leaf and crushed lime leaf. Set aside until needed. Spoon off some extra oil that surface on top.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and pan-seared sausage until lightly brown on all sides. Butter the frankfurter bread roll and toast slightly.
  4. Put sausage in a bun, top with minced rendang, sprinkle Anchor Colby & Cheddar cheese, red onion, and spring onion. If you like it spicier add some chili slices. Enjoy!
