It’s amazing how a pinch of salt can produce a very different burst of flavours on your tastebuds. This recipe for Salted Caramel and Chocolate Pralines bites will leave a delicious aftertaste in your mouth that will leave you craving for more.

- 300g caster sugar
- 40g honey
- 3tsp salted margarine
- 75g UHT cream
- 50g dark bitter chocolate
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and honey and boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add in margarine, cream and chocolate.
- Stir well and return to heat. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring constantly. Line a rectangular tray with oiled baking paper. Pour the mixture into the tray, cover with clingwrap and refrigerate till solid.
- Turn the tray out onto a chopping board, cut into cubes and wrap in cellophane paper.
