Recipe Ingredient

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp plain yoghurt
  • 1 ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Pinch of salt
  • A dash of pepper
  • A good dash of ground black pepper
  • A small can of salmon in brine, well drained

Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, yoghurt, lemon juice and mustard in a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir in salt, pepper and ground black pepper to mix.
  3. Blend until mixture is smooth. Transfer to an air-tight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
  4. Add mashed salmon to mix and spread it on to buttered slices of sandwich bread. Add a few slices of cucumber and serve the sandwich immediately.
