Recipe Ingredient

  • 15 pieces gingko nuts, shelled and skinned
  • 25g white fungus, soaked
  • 10 red dates, pitted
  • 10 pieces dried wantan wrappers
  • 150g rock sugar
  • 1 1/2 litre water
  • 1 pandan leaf, knotted

Instructions

  1. Put water, white fungus, rock sugar and gingko nuts to boil for 30 minutes.
  2. Add pandan leaf and continue to simmer for 10 minutes more.
  3. Add wantan wrappers and cook for four to five minutes till the wrappers turn soft. Dish out into individual bowls to serve the soup hot or warm.
