Recipe Ingredient
- 15 pieces gingko nuts, shelled and skinned
- 25g white fungus, soaked
- 10 red dates, pitted
- 10 pieces dried wantan wrappers
- 150g rock sugar
- 1 1/2 litre water
- 1 pandan leaf, knotted
Instructions
- Put water, white fungus, rock sugar and gingko nuts to boil for 30 minutes.
- Add pandan leaf and continue to simmer for 10 minutes more.
- Add wantan wrappers and cook for four to five minutes till the wrappers turn soft. Dish out into individual bowls to serve the soup hot or warm.
