Recipe Ingredient

  • 200 g lotus roots (peeled and sliced thickly)
  • 100 g peanuts (soaked and rinsed)
  • 5 5 red dates (seeded)
  • 2-3 honey dates (malt choe)
  • 50 g vegetarian chicken
  • 1.5 litres water
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a pot. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1½-2 hours. Season to taste, and serve immediately.
