Recipe Ingredient

  • 20 big black mushrooms
  • 4 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 4 tbsp of sesame oil
  • a dash of light and dark soya sauce
  • pepper
  • 20 slices of carrot, cut in thick rings
  • 20 cucumber slices


  1. Wash and soak mushrooms until soft.
  2. Boil mushrooms with garlic, sesame oil, soya sauce and pepper until water is absorbed by mushrooms.
  3. Cool. Push toothpicks through first the cucumber, then mushrooms, and carrots.
  4. Serve cold as a meal starter.
