Braised Chicken Rice

Ingredients

Chicken:
Chicken, crushed garlic, thin ginger and lengkuas slices

Rice:
Margerine
Pandan leaves
Thin lengkuas slice
Chicken stock

Method

To prepare chicken, fry garlic, ginger and lengkuas till fragrant. Then add chicken, fry till colour changes. Cover and cook for 20-30 mins on slow heat. Add seasoning – thick and thin soya sauces, sugar, salt. Let simmer without cover until desired gravy consistency.
