Dual Bean Soup


40g black beans
40g black-eyed beans, soaked for two to three hours or until beans puff up slightly
2 chicken thighs, cut into big pieces
5 red dates
1 litre water


Salt to taste
1 tsp Maggi chicken stock granules


Place all the ingredients, except seasoning, into a double boiler pot. Bring water to a boil and steam over simmering water for one to two hours or until both types of beans are tender. Add seasoning and serve hot.
