Recipe Ingredient

  • 15 dried red dates (hoong cho), seeded
  • 7g ginseng root (yen sam)
  • 10g good grade dried hasima, soaked for 1-2 hours
  • 10g white fungus, soaked for 15 minutes to soften
  • 100g rock sugar
  • 1 litre water

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a double-boiler.
  2. Double-boil for 2-3 hours, then remove and serve hot or cold.
