Tasty Puff Triangles
250g ready-made puff pastry
1 can (200g) sardines, bones removed and flaked
1 Bombay onion, sliced thinly
2 tbsp oil
½ tsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped red chillies
1 tbsp curry meat powder
Juice of one lime
Glaze (combine by lightly beating):
1 tbsp milk
A pinch of salt
Heat oil in a non-stick saucepan, fry garlic until fragrant. Add flaked sardines, meat curry powder, lime juice, chilli and onion. Stir-fry until well combined and gravy turns thick. Remove and set aside to cool.
Roll out the pastry and cut into eight or nine squares. Put a tablespoonful of cooled filling on one side of the pastry. Fold over diagonally to form a triangle.
Use a fork to press or hold down the edge. Brush with a little glaze and place on a lightly greased baking tray.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Remove and serve the puffs immediately.
