Fuzion and The Atrium to serve up hundreds of international and local delights.

DINERS can look forward to breaking fast with a gourmet feast at Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa this Ramadan.

To cater to all tastes, diners can choose between the “Eid and International Gastronomy” theme at Fuzion or the “Malaysian Food Bazaar” at The Atrium.

Syrian-born chef Khder Mohsen Al Issa heads the team at Fuzion, presenting a selection of international cuisine and several Ramadan favourites.

“This year, Fuzion focuses on seafood, providing diners with more than 20 types of seafood prepared and cooked in a variety of styles,” said Khder.

Among its selection of more than 400 dishes on the buffet spread, Fuzion maintains the Ramadan feel through its live-action cooking stations with six large kawah (wok), located outside the terrace area.

The daily menu for the kawah stations rotates around 26 types of gulai dishes, but do not miss the chicken and beef rendang.

One station that is a sure hit with children will be the two chocolate fountains and the incredible selection of 50 condiments that include a variety of fruits, marshmallows, cakes, cookies and even macaroon biscuits.

On the lobby level, diners with a preference for local favourites can sate their appetite at The Atrium, with the team led by Malaysian chef Parthiban Nalliah.

Parthiban said the highlights of The Atrium’s 350-dish buffet spread includes local specialities from different states, such as Satay Warisan Bakar Kajang, Warisan Mee Rebus Muar and many more.

“I have also contributed a recipe of my own for the buffet spread for the first time, the Ayam Gajus Nyonya,” said Parthiban.

The Ayam Gajus Nyonya, according to Parthiban, was simmered in a mixture of spices, which gave it a very distinct and rich taste.

Another dish that stands out at The Atrium is the “Gearbox Soup”, sitting in an enormous cauldron near the front of the restaurant.

This sweet and spicy Johor speciality is served with a huge bone, complete with its marrow, and is best shared among family members.

The Ramadan buffet at Fuzion is priced at RM138++ while the spread at The Atrium is priced at RM108++ for adults. Children between the ages of six and 12 eat at half price.

The Ramadan promotions at both restaurants are available from tomorrow to July 27, between 6pm and 10.30pm, daily.

Advanced reservations and discounts for group dining and private events are available.
