Coconut Candy

Coconut candy is tasty and made of freshly grated coconut. It is a common treat during Deepavali. This recipe is courtesy of Venusitas and was first published in Flavours magazine.

  1. Dry-fry the grated coconut flesh till golden brown, then add the sugar and condensed milk and keep stirring and mixing so it does not get burnt. Cook the mixture for about an hour.
  2. Pour the mixture into a tray and leave to set overnight. Cut into cubes and serve.
