Recipe Ingredient

  • Shredded finely
  • 3cm ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp chilli paste
  • 1 ½ tbsp fish curry powder
  • 2 stalks lemon grass, lightly smashed
  • 1 stalk curry leaves
  • 3–4 tbsp oil
  • Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ikan bilis stock granules
  • 3/4 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3 flower crabs, cleaned and cut into quarters
  • 3 long beans, cut into 4cm lengths
  • 1 onion, cubed

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok and fry ginger and garlic until golden and fragrant.
  2. Add chilli paste and fish curry powder, lemon grass and curry leaves. Fry until fragrant.
  3. Add seasoning and crabs and long beans. Toss well to combine. Cover and cook for 3–4 minutes. Add onion and stir-fry until sauce is thick.
  4. Serve immediately.
