Tandoori Burger

There’s a myriad of ways to enjoy tandoori chicken, but have you ever had a tandoori burger? Instead of a regular burger patty, replace that with pieces of tandoori chicken to make a satisfying meal. This recipe is courtesy of The Daily Grind and was first published in Flavours.

Ingredients
Tandoori chicken
Raita sauce
Pickled onion
Burger
Instructions
To make tandoori chicken:
  1. Mix all the spice ingredients together and rub the mixture onto the chicken. Leave to marinate for at least 1 hour before grilling on the top deck of a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes, turning once midway.
To make raita sauce:
  1. Mix all the ingredients together.
To pickle onion:
  1. Mix all the ingredients together and set aside for 10 minutes.
To assemble:
  1. Place cucumber slices on pita bread. Top with tandoori chicken, raita sauce and pickled onion.
