OFFERING fusion flavours in a chic and elegant setting with a live band,[mappress mapid=”220″] in Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie is hoping to meet the needs of travellers and businessmen alike.
“Our restaurant will offer a variety of tapas, beverages and good music with The Colors from Philippines.Executive chef Francis Lau has hand picked the menu that offers Italian, Japanese and European flavours,” said resident manager Ai Tin Tan.
She said patrons who come for the opening would enjoy the soft and succulent Taliwang chicken that would melt in the mouth.
“The Taliwang Chicken looks almost like grilled chicken but once relished, you will taste its unique flavours. The meat is both spicy and sweet. It also has the aroma of lemongrass,” she said.
The Mix has an open kitchen where diners can watch food prepared.
“You will get to a flurry of activities as the chefs slice, dice and fry away as you enjoy a drink at the bar,” she said.
Lau chose the Spicy Chicken Tikka with Mint Yogurt, Spinach Pancake Bites Laced with Tangy Mango, Lamb Koftas and Vietnamese Herbed Vegetable Wrap to serve guests during the launch.
Marketing communications manager Sagina Manandhar said the interior ambience was warm thanks to the use of blue and purple.
“The colour purple puts patrons at ease and gives a lavender effect of calmness and this helps them to unwind and enjoy their time here. Blue encourages a creative mood that would charge them up for the cosmopolitan world out there,” she said.
The Mix has private rooms that can accommodated up to 10 people.
