Diners can enjoy breaking fast at the outdoor gazebo and pool that surround Kites Restaurant with some delicacies from Morocco, Lebanon, Turkey, Italy, India, Thailand and Vietnam, to name a few, and other local dishes.

Ipoh-born executive chef Francis Lau, who has been a chef for 35 years, is at the helm of Kites Restaurant.

“We are including a variety of food from different countries because we want to give customers more choice,” he said.

Both the Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines are based on aromatic blends of spices and among the dishes served at the buffet are Murgh Tawa Masala (Chicken Masala) and Masaledaar Bharma Bhindee (Okra Packed with a tangy melange of freshly roasted spices).

If you are hankering for Thai cuisine, there will be dishes such as Tom Yum Goong (spicy shrimp soup) and Tod Mun Pla (Thai Fish patties).

The Italian section offers risotto and pasta with a selection of nine sauces for you to choose from.

Live cooking stations are also be available, serving sup gear box (bone marrow soup), beef and lamb satay, Mongolian Terpan, Kambing mamak and Arabic whole roast lamb.
