TONY Roma’s is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Malaysia with the opening of its 10th outlet at Vivacity Megamall Kuching this month.

Rib lovers can now enjoy the restaurant’s signature ribs and dishes in the 4,800sq ft restaurant, equipped with a wine bar.

Diners can also choose to dine indoors or outdoors with the 182-seating capacity.

In conjunction with the celebration, diners can look forward to a list of deals, promotions and activities when they dine here such as the main entrée buy-two-free-one promotion.

Famously known for its succulent barbecue ribs and seafood, Tony Roma’s recommends the familiar favourites of bountiful beef ribs (top pic), New York strip, onion loaf or shrimp scampi pasta.

Dessert lovers can try the irresistible chocolate avalanche, raspberry brownie royale and chocolate chunk cookie sandwich.

Besides ribs and barbecued dishes, diners can opt for other equally delectable options such as burger, salad, steak and pasta.

They can also pair their food with the four special sauces imported from the United States.

“This is our second outlet outside Kuala Lumpur. All of our outlets have always been inside Kuala Lumpur. It took a while for us to open in Kuching,” said Revenue Valley Sdn Bhd chief executive officer George Ang on Friday.

“We are famous for beef ribs and lamb ribs but we have not started selling lamb ribs here yet. We will bring this in soon. The food is all halal but we have a bar that serves beer and wine.

“I am also proud to say that with the opening of the 10th outlet, Malaysia is now the biggest franchise partner of Tony Roma’s in Asia,” he said.

This latest outlet is a joint venture between Revenue Valley and Premier Victory Sdn Bhd. Revenue Valley wholly owns subsidiary Grand Companions Sdn Bhd which operates Tony Roma’s chains in Malaysia. This is Tony Roma’s first entry in Sarawak and the second largest outlet in Malaysia.

Tony Roma’s is an American diner specialising in ribs. First established in the 1970s in north Miami, it can now be found in 30 countries across six continents.

It has won numerous awards across the US and the nationally-acclaimed industry recognition for the best ribs. — By AVA LAI
