Recipe Ingredient

  • 10 sweetened preserved limes, seeded
  • 40g preserved nutmeg slices
  • 25g raisins
  • Grind:
  • 10 shallots
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2cm piece ginger
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • Combine:
  • 3 tbsp chilli paste
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp belacan power
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • Seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and stir-fry ground ingredients until fragrant. Add in combined chilli mixture and stir-fry well. Add in vinegar and bring to a slow boil. Stir in seasoning.
  2. Mix in the fruits and combine well. Dish out and leave to cool completely.
