Recipe Ingredient

  • 100g potato
  • 70g salmon fillet
  • 30g onion, diced
  • 50g fresh sweet corn kernels
  • 1 tbsp chopped spring onion
  • 1 small egg
  • 40g plain flour
  • Seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp sugar


  1. Clean potato skin well and put in a saucepan with enough water to cover. Add a pinch of salt. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove and skin the potato, then grate coarsely.
  2. Steam salmon fillet for 10 minutes. Flake the fish. Combine grated potato, salmon, onion, corn kernels, spring onion, egg, flour and seasoning in a mixing bowl. Stir well to combine.
  3. Lightly grease a non-stick saucepan with corn oil. Spoon tablespoons of combined mixture into the saucepan. Spread out evenly into clusters. Fry for 1-2 minutes each over a medium-low heat.
  4. Remove and serve patties immediately.
