- 225 gm butter
- 140g castor sugar
- 2 egg
- 340 gm plain flour
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time before adding in the essence. Fold in sifted flour to form soft dough.
- Put dough into a cookie press and press shapes out onto baking trays lined with greased greaseproof paper. Bake in preheated oven at 190 ºC for 12 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring onto wire rack to cool. Cool it completely before storing.
