Recipe Ingredient

  • 100g almonds
  • 1 vanilla pod or a few drops of vannila essence
  • 750ml boiled water


  1. Soak the almonds overnight with 50ml water, then add remaining water and grind in the blender till smooth.
  2. Pour it through a sieve to remove the almond paste. Add the vanilla pod or essence before refrigerating. Store the milk in a clean and dry bottle. Serve warm or cold.
  3. This is a excellent substitute to dairy milk. I serve it frequently to my son as a nightcap with honey. It is good for children who are lactose intolerant.
