Recipe Ingredient

  • Pie Dough:
  • 100g Anchor Unsalted butter
  • 50g sugar
  • 100g whole egg
  • 250g low protein flour
  • 5g baking powder
  • 1g salt
  • Apple Filling:
  • 100g sugar
  • 40g Anchor Unsalted Butter
  • 400g green apple (pitted & cutted)
  • 50g walnut, chopped
  • 5g cinnamon powder


  1. In a mixing bowl, put in the Anchor Unsalted Butter, sugar, egg, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well until become pie dough
  2. Divide the dough to 2 pieces, 350gm and 150gm
  3. Keep the 150gm pie dough in the freezer
  4. Shape the 350gm pie dough in a 9 inch pie mold, then keep in fridge for 15 minutes
  5. In a cooking pan, cook the sugar until golden brown at low heat then add in the Anchor Unsalted Butter. Stir well
  6. Add in the green apple, walnut, cinnamon powder, then stir well until fully coated with caramel
  7. Remove from the heat, then let it cool down
  8. After cool down, pour the apple filling into the pie
  9. Grate the 150gm frozen pie dough on top of the pie until the apple filling is covered
  10. In the preheated 180C oven, bake for 30-35 minutes
