Recipe Ingredient

  • Cookie Dough
  • 100g Anchor Unsalted Butter
  • 70g Castor Sugar
  • 20g Egg Yolk
  • 4g Vanilla Essence
  • 40g Custard Powder
  • 120g All Purpose Flour
  • 10g Sesame Seeds
  • Egg Wash
  • Egg Whites, sufficient
  • Garnish
  • Black or White Sesame Seeds


  1. Preheat oven to 160C.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix Anchor Butter, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla essence until mix well.
  3. Sift in the flours and knead into a dough.
  4. Add in sesame seeds and roll into 5mm thickness.
  5. Cut out with cookie cutter and brush with egg white.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
